If i choose one of my opponets monsters to put ring on do i have to target that monster? Or does my opponet have to target his own monster?

If i choose one of my opponets monsters to put ring on do i have to target that monster? Or does my opponet have to target his own monster?

If you play Ring of Magnetism onto an opponent's monster (I'll assume a Sidekick) then your opponent would have to target their own Sidekick with action dice and abilities. Even though it is on their monster, Ring of Magnetism is still yours and sees them as your opponent.
