Verteron Pulse Trap

Verteron Pulse Trap
"When a ship moves within range 1 of the minefield token : target that ship. Place an Aux token beside the target ship"

Do you still gain an Aux token if you perform a green manouver?

Does Pavel Chekov remove the Aux token just gained as he is part of an ability seperate to movement?

Pavel Chekov
"your ship can remove 1 Auxiliary Power Token after performing a White Manouver"

Page 26 of the rulebook: ""When a ship executes a Maneuver in which either the Maneuver Template or the ship’s base physically overlaps a Minefield Token, this triggers the text of whichever card placed the Minefield Token in the play area."

The effect triggers when you lay down your template and physically move your ship.
(1) Reveal your dial
(2) Move your ship w/ your template
(3) Verteron Pulse Trap triggers, you get an aux token
(4) AFTER YOU MOVE effects happen

If you performed a green maneuver, you remove the aux token place by the trap.

Chekov is also an after you move effect, if it was a white maneuver you remove the aux token placed by the trap.

Followup,
As it pertains to cloaked mines, if you previously had an Auxiliary power token and performed a green maneuver, is it removed before the cloaked mine “triggers” thus allowing you the opportunity to perform a scan?
In the same vien, if you perform a red Maneuver, thus resulting in an APT, is it placed before or after the mine triggers and your ship has an opportunity to perform a scan?

Per the Veteron Pulse Trap ruling and rulebook, the effects of a Minefield Token trigger before an Auxiliary Power Token is removed via a green maneuver or other effect. Additionally, checking for a red maneuver happens at the same time and would happen after the effect of Cloaked Mines.

Where exactly does the Check for Power Strain step happen with after you move abilities?

Does Verteron Pulse trap affect ALL ships or just enemy ships? The lack of text either way is confusing some players.

When a ship moves, it gets the Auxiliary Power Token immediately after moving.

If you use a card like Romulan Pilot (which is an ""after you move"" effect) it would already have the Auxiliary Power Token on the ship.

Specifically with the Trap, it says when (any) ship moves within Range 1 of the Token it immediately receives an Auxiliary Power Token. Note this would also happen if you Sensor Echo into the range of the Verteron Pulse Trap

Does this pertain to ALL movement within the Trap which include moving into the trap, moving within the trap without leaving the trap and again while moving out of trap?

Another followup,

Can we get a clarification on how Cloaked mines now work in the new rules? If the mines trigger after performing the maneuver but before the after movement effect steps. Then how does one perform a scan action as the perform action step happens after the movement step. If so then should not cloaked mines, and Verteron Pulse Trap's effect not happen after the perform action step?

(Page 8) 2. Activation Phase: Each ship moves and performs one
Action. In ascending order of Captain Skill, reveal each
ship’s Maneuver Dial and execute its chosen maneuver.
Immediately after performing its chosen maneuver, each ship
may perform one Action.
