Separate Attack V Separate Attack Roll

Postby scottaltman9998 » Mon May 21, 2018 8:09 pm

Some weapons (IE Romulan Disruptor Pulse) have the wording "Seperate Attack" and some weapons (IE Klingon Torpedo Fusillade) have the wording "Separate Attack Roll".

1) Does Separate Attack and Separate Attack roll mean the same thing.

Followup question for if they are synonymous:

A) If the first attack is canceled, would the others still happen since it is a "Separate Attack" against each target?

Followup question for if they are not synonymous:

B) If they are only "Separate attack rolls" (one total attack) would Advanced Cloaking or Advanced Weapon system technically work for the entirety of weapons like Fusillade?

Separate Attack and Separate Attack roll are synonymous.

Regarding your follow up question, an attack cancelling effect, such as Interphase Generator, would only cancel the attack against that ship. It would not cancel the other attacks something like Torpedo Fusillade would grant.
