I'll start a thread for WILLIAM T. RIKER Questions (from the Wave 8 Enterprise-E expansion).
His ability reads: Add 1 [CREW} upgrade to your upgrade bar, After you move, you may disable this card to perform the action on one of your [CREW],[ELITE], or [TECH] upgrades or your Captain's Action as a Free Action
QUESTIONS:
[1] MARTOK9 - He has an ability ACTION: Target all friendly ships within Range 1 of your ship whose captains have a lower skill than Martok's The Target ships gain +1 attack die and may re-roll 1 of their attack die this round.
Suppose I copy Martok's ability with Riker. The question is the comparison of the Skill value would still refer to Martok himself right? (since Riker doesn't have a captain value)
[2] DISCARDING - Suppose the use of another upgrade required that other upgrade to discard itself (that's about 60% of the other crew upgrades by the way) ... would Riker then also be required to discard himself??
[3] ACTION KEYWORD - Can you do this if the upgrade doesn't have the word [ACTION] in it? For example ROMULAN PILOT (which allows you to perform an additional Green Maneuver).
[4] MULTIPLICITY - Can you use Riker's ability more than once in a turn? (If you were able to move his Disable token over to another crew member, For example, Beverly Crusher). There seems to be precedence that you can because of BGG forum discussions with Bu'Kah (Crew from Raptor) but I'd like a formal ruling.
[5] Riker + Beverly Crusher (Ent-E) + Phlox - There has been a lot of discussion on the interaction of these three cards. Crusher says "If one of your [CREW] upgrades is supposed to be disabled for any reason, you may disable this card instead"; Phlox says "During the activation phase you may disable this card to remove all disable upgrade tokens from all of your other [CREW] upgrades". The question is when Phlox uses his ability can Crusher take Phlox's disable token (this should be clearly yes) ... and then would Phlox then remove Crusher's disable token??
[6] ORDER OF OPERATIONS - There have also been questions about performing multiple "After you move actions" during the turn. Presumably the active player can choose the order of operations for those "After you move actions".
Thanks
