Wizkids Rules!

Provided below is a list of all current HeroClix releases in which the game elements of that release are considered Modern Age legal. If a release is not listed, any game elements from that release, other than uncarded terrain markers, are not considered Modern Age legal.

For WizKids Sponsored Tournaments, HeroClix game elements released at retail are not legal in a Constructed Event until one (1) week after the release date. Exclusive HeroClix game elements released at conventions and/or official tournaments and storyline organized play and/or monthly organized play game elements are not legal in a Constructed Event until one (1) week after the end of the first month the game elements were available.

[For example, figures in a monthly OP kit that can be given out as prizes for events held in June would not be legal at official WizKids events until July 7th of that year. If an exclusive figure is first available at WKO events held during the month of February, it would not be legal at any official WizKids events until March 7th.]

Otherwise, HeroClix game elements are Modern Age legal in all unofficial formats on the official release day of each HeroClix retail set or as soon as they become available in regard to Organized Play and exclusive game elements. Game elements with the set symbol of an upcoming set that are obtained early by any means (including Prereleases, mailings, and other promotions) are not legal in any Constructed format until the official release day.

Please note that the sets and game elements listed below reflect what is legal for unofficial Modern Age events. For official events, please refer to the rules noted above and any special announcements that may be posted.
