Sidekick characters that are on a Sidekick die are always considered level one. Character dice with the Ally keyword are also considered Sidekick characters when in the field, and are considered to have different levels in accordance with their die.
Page 20 of the World's Finest Rulebook states: "Unless otherwise stated, game effects can only target Character Dice that are in the Field Zone." As a result, currently, the practical effect of the Brave Sacrifice Global Ability is to allow a player to spin a character die with the Ally keyword from level two or three to level one.
