Techno - Downloaded Consciousness Global states: Pay bolt. Spin any number of your Sidekick dice in your Field Zone and Reserve Pool to their bolt side (if active, move them to your Reserve Pool).

With the recent Lab Test and Black Dwarf rulings, we just wanted to clarify how this Global works now.

Is the Global looking for any Sidekick "dice" or dice with the "Sidekick face" showing? For example: if I have a Sidekick die showing a mask face, is it eligible to be spun to a bolt face with the Techno Global? Or is it specifically looking for a Sidekick face?

When Action, Character or Sidekick dice are in a rolled game state, they function based on their facial distinction. This distinction is called the die’s status.

A Sidekick die in a rolled game state (i.e. in the Reserve Pool or Field Zone) showing a Character (PAWN) face has the status of a Sidekick Character die. If it is showing an energy face, it has the status of an Energy die.

In your example, a Sidekick die on a mask energy face in the Reserve Pool cannot be spun to a bolt face. The ability is specifically applied to a Sidekick Character die.
Therefore, Techno’s global ability should state “spin any number of your Sidekick Character dice in your Field Zone and Reserve Pool to their bolt side.”
