Hello,

I have a question about two cards from the upcoming Marvel Dice Masters: Secret Wars set.The cards in question are Spider-Man: Spider-Tracers and Groot: Bark and Fight.

In short, for both cards, the same character card (name and subtitle) is printed in the Draft Packs and in the Origins Packs. However, there are differences between the Draft Pack and Origin Pack versions.

For Spider-Man: Spider-Tracers, the Origin Pack version is Max: 2, whereas the Draft Pack version is Max: 4.

For Groot: Bark and Fight, the text of the Draft Pack version reads as follows:

When fielded, target character die can't block this turn.

The Origin Pack version of the same card reads:

When fielded, select a target character die. It can't block this turn.

When fielded, target character die can't block this turn. (Select a single die to target when you use this ability).

My question, for both Spider-Man and Groot, is the same: what is the official card text that we should use for the purposes of competitive play?

Thank you for your time.

The Spider-Man and Goddess of Thunder versions from the Draft packs have the correct Max die amount (4 dice), which are also applied to their applicable versions from the Origins packs.

The Groot – Bark and Fight version from the Origins pack is a misprint. You can only target one character die when he’s fielded, as the version from the Draft pack states.

You can use any card version in competitive play, adhering to the rulings above.
