If Mr Sinister activates his global forcing each player to choose a character to take damage, and Industrialist Iron man has his Cancel all damage that Villains deal to Iron Man does it protect him from Mr Sinister? since the source of the 3 damage is coming from Mr Sinister's global?

Iron Man doesn't prevent damage from Mr. Sinister's Global Ability.

How about Ironman: Billionaire?

Iron Man takes no damage from non- [Shield] characters.

A global is not a non-shield character so I believe he'd take the damage.

Your double negative (not non) makes that a little confusing.

Allow me to clarify in general:
Iron Man takes no damage from characters who are non-[Shield] characters.

Non-character sources like Power Bolt, or a Global Ability, would be able to damage him.
