Ring of Magnetism: Action Attraction

Two questions: 1) Does this dice go away at the end of turn since it doesn't have a clause for it to stay? 2) does the monster it is on have to be a legal target for it to steal the ability? (aka ring is on a avengers character and trys to steal magneto global to re-roll a villain. Another example is distraction if it is a non-attacking monster equipped with ring.)

Ring of Magnetism stays in play. In the future, cards will be clear about this with special wording.

For your second question, please see the rulebook on redirecting, page 21 in the DC Comics Dice Masters Rules:
Other powers redirect a game effect (usually damage). When an
effect is redirected, the target of the effect changes from its original
target to the new one chosen as described in the game text, even if that
target was not a legal one for the original effect. The source of the effect
remains unchanged from the original.
