Khan Singh

You may use any upgrades without paying a Faction penalty. Up to 3 of the Upgrades you purchase for your ship cost exactly 4 SP each and are placed face down beside your Ship Card. Each Upgrade remains face down until you decide to use it, and then it is turned face up for the rest of the game. The printed cost on these Upgrades cannot be greater than 6.

1) Can I take a card like Energy Dissipator -

This upgrade cost +5 Squadron Points for any non-Breen ship.

on a Non-Breen ship with Khan's hiding ability? If so, would it cost 4 or 4+5(Non Breen) = 9 SP?
2) If Khan is discarded or otherwise removed from the ship, what happens to the hidden upgrades? Are they instantly revealed? Are they stuck hidden? Are they able to be revealed normally?

Do Khans hidden upgrades require an open slot on the ship in order to be purchased and placed face down?

1) No, you could not take energy Dissipator the printed cost of the card on a non-Breen ship would be 9 (4+5). The +5 is printed on the card in the game text.
2) The face down cards that Khan adds are similar to Shinzon in many ways. The game text that provides how to flip them is on Khan's card. If he is disabled or discarded the face down cards may not be flipped or used (as they have no game text without being flipped). Since the cards are assigned to slots on the ship they would not follow Khan if he were to be moved to a new ship and could not be flipped if he was on another ship (his game text states your ship - ie the ship he is on).
