Flip one of the (Klingon Elite Talent) Upgrades beneath this card face up and equip it to the Captain equipped to this ship. Remove the other 2 face down (Klingon Elite Talent) Upgrades from the game.

Does the Captain need to have an open Elite Talent slot in order to equip the new upgrade? For example, if DNA Encoded Message were originally equipped to an Admiral or Crew card, could the face down upgrade be equipped to a Captain without a Talent slot or with an already-occupied Talent slot?
