Does Borg Missile place 1 aux power token for EACH uncancelled hit or crit. What would happen if 4 hits were scored while attacking with Borg Missile?

The target ship does not sustain normal damage from this attack. Instead, place 1 Auxiliary Power Token beside the target ship AND destroy one of its Active Shields for each [hit] or [crit] result. The target does not roll defense dice against this attack"

The Borg Missile weapon adds only 1 Auxiliary Token to your ship if there is an uncanceled hit or critical hit.

Is that 1 Aux per uncanceled hit/crit, or 1 aux total?

1 Auxiliary Token total for any number of hits or critical hits as long as 1 is remaining.
