"During the Modify Attack Dice step of the Combat Phase, you may choose one of your attack dice and re-roll that die twice.
During the Modify Defense Dice step of the Combat Phase, you may choose one of your defense dice and re-roll that die twice."

In regards to any card like Koloth (Each time an enemy ship attacks you, you may force that ship to re-roll 1 attack die of your choice.)
After you roll your initial attack dice, the opposing player uses Koloth to force you to reroll one attack dice. Normally, that dice cannot be re-rolled again for any reason since dice can only be rerolled once. Since Operations Officer lets you re-roll an attack dice twice, does Koloth's ability count as the first re-roll, and you can subsequently re-roll it once more if you so choose?

By extension, does Tactical Officer (Valdore Wave 0: When removing your target lock from an opposing ship in order to reroll your attack dice, you may re-roll each attack die an additional time.) work the same way against a card such as Koloth?

Would Operations Officer work the same way against any card that forces a reroll of your defense dice?
