General - Discarded cards and Fleet Points

Are any cards that are discarded counted towards your opponent's score?

Your score is calculated by subtracting the remaining fleet point in your opponent's fleet (including their cards that they discarded to use their abilities) from 120 points.
Cards you discard are placed under your ship and are only considered "destroyed" if the ship they are on is destroyed.
Cards your opponent forces you to discard are considered destroyed.

When calculating surviving fleet do you factor cost reductions, faction penalties etc or do you use PRINTED COST?

You use the cost written on your fleet build sheet which should be the payed cost of the card.
