General - OP Scoring and Stolen Cards

Postby mordaenor » Tue Nov 18, 2014 12:19 pm

How do cards that are stolen (via Superior Intellect and Assimilation Tubules) affect OP Scoring? I understand that they would not count towards the surviving fleet of the player they were taken from, but would they count towards the surviving fleet of the player who took them, since they were not part of the original build.

And if so, if that player lost no ships, thus ending with a Surviving Fleet that was Greater than his starting fleet, would the opposing player actually LOSE Fleet Points?

The stolen cards would not count towards the surviving fleet of the of the player who took them because they are not listed on that player's Fleet Build Sheet. The Stolen cards are discarded at the end of the game and count as destroyed by the player that brought them.

Discarded cards are not counted as fleet points for that ship?

Cards you discard are placed under your ship card and are only counted as "destroyed" if that ship is destroyed. Cards your opponent forces you to discard are counted as destroyed.
