Do the resource fighter squadrons also require a ship with 4 hull in my fleet or does this restriction only apply to the non-resource fighter squadrons?

The resource attack squadrons are fighter squadrons. They have the same requirement as the retail fighter squadrons.

Fighter Squadrons may only be equipped with [squadron] upgrades and may not be equipped with any other upgrades, captains, admirals or resources.

Can you take a fighter squadron as part of your build without any 4 hull ships present? (because you can get a 4 hull ship out of your blind booster)

Could you use the advanced shield resource which is assigned to the fleet to give your fighters shields?

Do the fighters still benefit from a flagship being in range to grant the extra attack die, defense die, movement, ETC.?

Can fighter squadrons perform fleet actions?
