In the mission it says the Borg Cube Token is considered an enemy ship. If your ship has a Borg Shield Matrix on it ,with 3 shield matrix tokens, when the Borg Cube Token targets the ship would it get to roll to keep upgrade cards from being assimilated?

For this scenario, there is no way to stop the Borg Cube Token from "assimilating" your cards without using the resistance token provided by the scenario.
