Wave 7-Scout 608-Scavenged parts

"Whenever one of your upgrades is discarded, add 1 drone token to your captain card. You cannot exceed your captains starting number of drone tokens."
Regeneration Sequencers (Assimilation Target Prime):
"Whenever one of your upgrades is discarded repair 1 damage to your hull OR you may discard this card and spend 1 drone token to repair up to 2 damage to your hull."
Q. If I have both of these upgrades equipped to the same vessel and I discard a card to perform an action can I add 1 drone token to my captain and repair one damage to my hull?
