Can you target Lock a Squadron?

Can I target them with Missile Launchers?

Can I steal cards from a Squadron?

Can I give them an Auxiliary Token?

-Fighter Squadrons are now classified as Squadrons, a new type of unit. They may not have Admirals or Resources deployed to them and may not be affected by any card text that references a ship unless 1.) The ability is triggered by a Squadron upgrade, 2.) it specifies that it targets a Squadron, or 3.) it is triggered as part of an attack targeting the Squadron. Additionally, the upgrades on a Squadron may still be affected as if they were on a normal ship. Each Squadron must be accompanied by one 4+ Hull point ship to be included in a Fleet.

Note: This means cards that specifically target ships will no longer benefit Squadrons (ex. Donatra, whose text specifies “all other friendly ships”). Ships that also specifically require another ship be within range (ex. Prakesh, whose text specifies “if you are in range 1 of a friendly ship”) will not benefit from Squadrons, as they are no longer considered ships.

Are Fighter Squadrons immune to Minefields?

No. Minefields attack ships of all types including Squadrons (See Rule 41 of the Tournament Rules). If a Squadron was to move into a minefield the minefield would roll it's attack against them.

Yes, you can still target lock a Squadron because the target lock is an action not a card ability.

Yes, you can target a Squadron with any weapon or card that is used during an attack.

Yes, you can target and effect upgrades on Squadrons in any way.

It depends on what card you use to add the auxiliary Token. If the card is used during an attack yes you may add an auxiliary token.

Card abilities that do not directly affect a ship will still work against Squadrons.

Example: Cloaked Mines

During the Planning Phase, you may discard this card to place a Minefield Token within Range 2 of your ship (in any direction), but not within Range 2 of an Enemy ship. If an enemy ship passes within Range 1 of the Toekn, roll 3 attack dice (-1 if the target ship immediately performs a [SCAN] Action). Any [HIT] or [CRITICAL] damages the target ship as normal. The affected ship does not roll any defense.

For all rule purposes squadrons are ships when it comes to all mines. Mines work against all ships, including Squadrons, exactly the same. They do not directly affect ships, but may not be placed in range 2 of a ship (Squadrons are ships except in the cases mentioned in the Tournament Rules) and attack when a ship is within range 1.

Example: Corbomite Maneuver

ACTION: Discard this Upgrade to prevent all enemey ships from attacking you this round. You cannot attack this round.

Corbomite Maneuver on the other hand affects ships and does not affect Squadrons.

Tribble token reference card:
Your ship gains the following action:
Action: If your ship is not Cloaked, disable all of your remaining Shields and target a ship at range 1-2 that is not Cloaked and has no Active Shields. Place any number of your Tribble Tokens beside the target ship's Ship Card. You cannot transfer any Tribble Token that you received this round.

Under the new rules regarding upgrade card interaction with fighter squadrons are you allowed to transfer Tribble Tokens onto a squadron?

No, the action associated with Tribble tokens is directly targeting the Squadron and would not be able to affect it.
