Captain America can't be picked up or used in Terrain Actions

THAWED FROM THE ICE, CAP LIVES AGAIN! EFFECT: Captain America starts the game on click #1. When a character uses Leadership and succeeds, turn this dial 1 click in the direction of increasing click numbers. // At the beginning of your turn, you may destroy Captain America. // When Captain America is destroyed, if it had a number in its dial window, generate a #MVX-019 Captain America in one of the last squares it occupied on the click number matching the number on Captain America's dial.


27.2d Quake (Lime Green)
CLOSE: KNOCKBACK. Destroy all terrain markers and printed pieces of blocking terrain within 1 square, then make a close attack targeting all adjacent opposing characters. Each hit character is dealt 2 damage instead of normal damage.


My opponent is playing the Captain America terrain marker, and its dial is showing a number. I use Quake while adjacent to it. Would Captain America be generated and, if so, would I then be able to attack him with the attack part of Quake?

When the terrain marker is destroyed using the first part of Quake, the MVX-019 Captain America will be generated as soon as the terrain is destroyed and will now be on the map before the attack portion of Quake is resolved. That generated Captain America would now be a viable target for the attack during that use of Quake.
