Two questions (that are related)

1. When using Grasscutter, do you still have to roll before choosing to use one of the dice in the attack roll for Blades?

(Depending on the above answer) Is Grasscutter's additional effect a die replacement? Meaning, could she reroll the Blades roll before a character choose to use one of the dice from the attack roll for their result?

Yes.

The die chosen would replace the die used for Blades/Claws/Fangs. The d6 could be rerolled before choosing to replace it.
