The 2015 HeroClix Canadian National Championship Qualifiers will be the last opportunity for players to earn a seat in the 2015 HeroClix Canadian National Championship. Two Constructed Qualifier tournaments will be held at 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. THIS IS IT! You’ve battled through the events on Saturday and victory is in sight! Build the best 300-point Modern Age team and fight it out with the rest of the top players and see who emerges victorious as the 2015 HeroClix Canadian National Champion! The HeroClix Canadian National Championship will be multiple Swiss rounds followed by a cut to Top 8 — players will then receive tiered prizes for each single-elimination round that they advance through until a 2015 HeroClix Canadian National Champion is crowned. In addition to HeroClix product prizes received, the winner of the event will be awarded an invitation to the 2015 HeroClix World Championship and the opportunity to work with WizKids to design an Alternate Team Ability.

HeroClix Battle Royales
Number of Players — 16-player pods randomized to 4-player games (or 8-player pods randomized to 4-player games as demand necessitates)
Battle Royale events will be 4-player, 1-pack, Sealed Draft Format. Seating will be assigned after 16 players have signed up — then the 16 players will be divided into randomized pods of 4 players each. Players will draft the contents of their booster to form their teams — no point limit to teams built through the draft; limit of 3 actions per player’s turn. At the end of the game (game duration approximately 45 minutes), players determine standings based on number of points KO’d from other player’s teams. Players will then place all figures and elements from their booster packs into the center of the map and a 2015 Marvel or DC Convention LE Prize Figure will be added to form a prize pool. Players will then conduct a snake draft in order from winner to the last place player (reversing order — first to last; last to first — until all elements have been chosen).
Battle Royale events will be 4-player, 1-pack, Sealed Draft Format. Seating will be assigned after 16 players have signed up — then the 16 players will be divided into randomized pods of 4 players each. Each player should come to the event with 8 Sidekick Dice, 12 Basic Action Dice, 4 Indicator Cards, and 2 Basic Action Cards (players may choose which Basic Action Cards they would like to use after completing the draft, but must use the same 2 throughout the event). Seating will be assigned after 8 players have signed up to fill a pod. Each player in the draft sits down with 12 foil packs of Dice Masters to draft with. Each player opens a set of 6 packs. As each player opens their packs they should verify that the cards and dice match. Keeping their cards secret, players set them aside into a pile of 12 cards. The remaining 6 packs are opened, reviewed, and then placed into a separate pile of 12 cards in front of the player (the piles are not to be mixed). All dice are placed into the center and arranged so players can see exactly which dice and how many of each will be available during the draft.
