For all versions of Lantern Ring, you may use Superwoman's Global Ability to pay for the Purchase Cost.

Superwoman's Global Ability lets you spend other energy as Bolt energy for the remainder of the turn.

For abilities that check which energy are in your Reserve Pool, just like Wild energy (?) can be spent as other types but don't count as them, energies you could spend as Bolt energy do not count as Bolt energy.
