Carnage: No Pain, No Reign Card Text Clarification

Hi, I have a question about card text for a card from Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage Team Pack.

Carnage: No Pain, No Reign card text from Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage Team Pack says:

"When Carnage attacks, he may use the "When attacks" ability of target character die."

Does this mean if say another cards "When attacks" ability has that card's name in it, the name would be replaced with "Carnage"?

Example:

Silver Sable: Outlaw card text says:

"When Silver Sable attacks, add a die from your bag to your Prep Area. If it is a Sidekick, Silver Sable is unblockable."

If Carnage uses the ability from Silver Sable, does the ability make Carnage unblockable? or only Silver Sable? Would the card text from Silver Sable, when used by Carnage be the following?:

"When Carnage attacks, add a die from your bag to your Prep Area. If it is a Sidekick, Carnage is unblockable."

Yes. Carnage would use the ability from a target Character die as if it was his ability, i.e. replacing the target character’s name with his own wherever applicable.
