Hello DMR,

Can you please advise how Prismatic Spray: Lesser Spell is supposed to work?

Prismatic Spray – Lesser Spell

All of your opponent’s characters lose all their card text until the end of the turn.

When this action is played, does it only target the characters that are fielded, or all of the characters that the opponent has, both purchased and unpurchased? Also, does this action cancel all of the abilities on all of the cards, including any globals on the card?


Examples:
If I play prismatic Spray and my opponent has Lord of D, with a Ring of Magnetism attached, does the game text on the Lord of D get cancelled making him a legal (forced) target for any abilities to remove him (as the ring would still function)?

If the opponent has a character like Blue Eyes White Dragon, or a Professor X (card with global), AND THE CHARACTER IS NOT FIELDED, are the globals on those cards lost for the turn as well?

If a Professor X (with global) is fielded, would the game text that is cancelled include the global?

Prismatic spray shuts off Globals even if the character is not fielded.

Prismatic Spray would shut off Lord of D. and allow him to be targeted with Ring of Magnetism.
