So, in this scenario, when an allied ship is taking a hull damage from SBTs, can the Kraxon's power be used to draw the damage to its own shields instead of the allied ship's hull?

Yes

Are we able to choose which of these actions to do first, or does one happen before the others? For example can a praetus which has already taken 2 hull dmg place its cloaked mines and then roll to see if it would take the 1 dmg left to destroy it?

Also if a ship receives a crit from the bacteria which causes it to receive the warp core breach card, is the player then forced to roll immediately for the warp core breach, or do they wait until the following round?

In this scenario check for the growth of the SBTs first in the round. Any damage (hit or critical hit) is applied before any other effects in the phase. If a Warp Core Breach was placed on a ship that ship would immediately roll to see if it was destroyed.

Matter of Honor Scoring

Postby seijitataki » Thu Mar 12, 2015 5:21 pm

BONUS: For every ship in a player’s surviving fleet that has a Captain, Admiral or [Crew] Upgrade card assigned to it of a different faction than the ship’s faction, that player gains +5 Fleet Points.

BONUS: For every Captain, Admiral or [Crew] Upgrade card of a different faction than the ship’s faction that was discarded to use for its text ability and is underneath a ship in a player’s surviving fleet, that player gains +5 Fleet Points.

Is the second bonus intended to be per-card (as stated) or per-ship (as per the first bonus), and is it separate from the first?

Yes, the conditions are checked in the order in which they are written. Stop checking the conditions after you have added a SBT to your ship or you have finished checking all the conditions.

If a ship receives an SBT for being within range 1 of token, and it previously had zero SBT on its ship card, do other ships not within range 1 of a token but within range 1 of that ship also receive an SBT during that end phase?

A Matter of Honor OP: Bio-electric Interference

Postby thechiefisin » Sun Mar 15, 2015 3:17 pm

Does the Species 8472 Tech upgrade "Bio-Electric Interference" remove SBT tokens?

The card is worded: "ACTION: Discard this card to target all other ships within range 1-3 of your ship. Target ships must discard all tokens that are placed beside their ships except for Auxiliary Power Tokens...only be purchased for a Species 8472 ship."

Does the captain under Gareb qualify for the part of this scenario that does not require you to pay faction penalties.

Page 17 of the rulebook under "End Phase":

During this phase, the players perform the following steps. Although
the players can usually perform these steps at the same time, any
player can request that the players act one by one in ascending
order of Captain Skill. If two or more Captains have the same Skill,
then those ships perform these activities in initiative order.

Each ship takes a turn increasing the number of SBT in ascending Captain Skill as stated in the rulebook.

In this scenario, the first and second bonus's are separate from each other.

If a ship has a Captain and two crew discarded for their own effects, and all are cross faction. You would get +15 Fleet Points (One for the first bonus and then the second bonus for each card discarded).
