No, the card placed under Quark would not count as deployed on the ship and would be discarded when a ship returns to play.

No, in this scenario, the ship may not repair it's shields higher than the number it currently entered play with.

When a ship is returned to play, that ship’s Shields are restored to its starting value, -1 for each Critical Hit Token on its Ship Card (min 0) (see Returning Ships below).


If a ship is destroyed with full shields would it still set the shields to the new maximum.

Yes, in this scenario, anytime your ship is destroyed for any reason you will return with your full shields -1 for each critical hit token.

The rules specifically talk about discarded Upgrades not returning to the game. If a game effect causes a Captain or Admiral (for example, Gul Madred) to be discarded, would they remain discarded for the rest of the game or would they return as they are not upgrades?

Yes, Captains and Admirals that are discarded would not return with the ship in this scenario.

If a ship uses Cheat Death and is then destroyed a second time, does the attacker score this as two separate kills?

If a crew upgrade such as Turanj or Haliz has become the captain card of a ship which is destroyed, when the ship returns to play will Turanj/Haliz return as a crew upgrade or as the captain card?

If a ship uses Cheat Death you would not gain points for the destruction of the ship that activates Cheat Death. You would only gain points for when the ship is removed from the board in this scenario.

In this scenario, these cards would return as the Captain card of the ship.
