Attack Squadron and Kraxon

If i hit an Attack Squadron with three hits, i have to take one Token away.

If the Kraxon is at Range one from that Squadron, and wish to not lose a squadron token. How much damage must the Kraxon take? One or three damage?

How is damage applied to Fighter Squadron 6 due to the shields? If Fighter Squadron 6 is attacked and it is hit once, will the 1 shield protect it resulting in it not removing the Squadron Token?

When a Squadron that has shields takes damage first apply the damage to the shields and then the hull, just like all other ships. The first uncanceled hit in a single attack would damage and remove the shield on Fighter Squadron 6. A second hit and any additional his would damage the hull of Fighter Squadron 6 and cause a single fighter token to be discarded. After the attack is complete a new fighter token would be placed and the squadron would have a new shield token present as well.

The Kraxon would need to trasnfer 3 damage for the Attack Squadron to not take any damage and not lose a Squadron Token. All Damage from an attack is applied to a single Squadron Token.
